Caught Red Handed
I read an article on MSN today about a man who was caught stealing a donut form a local store in Farmington, MO. The cost for the donut was 52 cents. The 41 year old man is being charge for assault because he pushed the clerk as she tried to stop him from leaving the store with donut. Now the charges was changed from a minor assault charge and shop lifting to a strong-armed robbery. This man is looking to get a 15 to 30 yr sentence. I believe that if you due the crime you should pay the time, but for a donut is crazy that they would even arrest this man. This man had prior criminal charges in the past and that's why the charges are so steep. Do you believe that this man should be charge a 30 yr sentence for stealing a donut or even pushing the clerk?
